Snowshoeing

Your guides will meet you at Reisafjord Hotel and will have suitable warm clothing, snow shoes and poles available.

After a short transfer by car (max. 30 min) we reach the one of the starting points of our trips. Depending on the weather, the guide will choose the best area (we can easily reach different climate areas like inland, coastal, and mountain climates).

The walks are between 4-6 km in distance, in easy terrain. The guides will show you how to handle the snow shoes and give you advice under the trip for maximum enjoyment.

You will experience the cold clear arctic wilderness in a natural way. Stunning views, frozen waterfalls, rivers and lakes are the tour's destinations.

You will try to make a fire, build your own stopping place in the snow and under advice from the guide, we will show you how to survive in the harsh climate of the Arctic. We serve coffee, tea and cookies by the fire.

All starting points are about 30 min by care from the Reisafjord Hotel.
